The European Union and ECOWAS have both issued statements tantamount to directly meddling in the internal politics of The Gambia. Both entities are neocolonial apparatus meant to continue the system of a minority privileged class exploiting the majority of the populace.

The EU has interest in pilfering our resources through channels of government that were and are never accountable to the citizens of The Gambia and that includes the present day president.

ECOWAS relies on the EU and the United States of America to finance itself. Adama Barrow relies on the European Union to finance a vision he called NPD. The trio is one and the same, so it’s no surprise the two with some muscle and horns come charging at Gambians fighting to make sure their vote and the promises made to them are fulfilled.

It’s an open secret that change is a nightmare for African leaders. Well, let me qualify that; the only change they are interested in, is the size of what they, their families and cronies can grow from the sweet, tears and blood of their citizens. Illegally!

The Europeans in Brussels know this. The African heads of state take that as their birth right. The only person left alone to feel the squeeze is the ordinary citizen of the African countries, including those of The Gambia.

Peaceful protests to demand a president to step down in accordance with agreements he himself signed and made pronouncements to uphold cannot be called illegal. Is it then not illegal to call that which is a fundamental right illegal? How dumb and stupid are the representatives of ECOWAS and the EU to put out such an insensitive and illogical statement.

For one, the EU representative knows very well that demonstrations and protests are not illegal in any of the internationally agreed instruments created to safeguard and uphold universal human rights. Attila Lajos, the European High Commissioner to The Gambia, is a racist and a charlatan for calling the efforts of the Three Years Jotna movement an unconstitutional attempt to force a government out.

In nearly all countries in Europe, neo-nazi organizations parade in the streets of major cities to spew hate and xenophobic sentiments. They are guaranteed this right in their constitutions and other national and international legal instruments. These neo-nazis are even accorded police protection on their match of hate.

Why should law abiding Gambians be denied the same rights, Attila Lajos? I will not address the ECOWAS Mission in The Gambia or anywhere because they are puppets of their European slave masters. Their tactics and incompetencies for the sons and daughters of West Africa glares at us every day through the unbelievable level of decadent poverty in our part of Africa. ECOWAS is headed by a group of old and middle-aged men who protect each other so as to die in power and enrich their progeny at the detriment of the common woman and man. They should rot in hell!

Whether Adama Barrow crocodile shed tears at the UN or EU, Gambians should not abrogate their rights to demand him to step down. The same applies to any future leader, who lies to us and then steal from us to live in luxury with their families.

We did not boot Jammeh out, only to be replaced by another Jammeh. Literally.
